I went back to the field that I found the Newnan in yesterday and found this knife.

I wonder why no one ever finds a fork or spoon? Always knives!:laughing7:

Great find!!

Question: How can you tell the difference between a knife and a projectile point??

I called it a knife because it's curved on one side.

Meaning there was more use on one side than the other which would be consistent with the way a knife would be used?

Nice, Barlow handle with pig tail blade.

I understand your humor, but spoons or dippers were often made of shell and the acidity of the soil degrades them rather quickly and they aren't often found. Static environments like caves are more conducive to finding spoons or dippers.
