After doing some hunting online I found this cool place that is less than 1 hour from my house. I looked at some plat maps from 1867 and found it showing one house there... My metal detecting buddy and I will plan on taking lots of pics of the site and doing a whole write up on our whole trip. We will probably go back several times untill the site is fully searched. It shows 1800 ft off of the main road next to some old un-used railroad tracks.
