That's a great date Indian. Might clean up better than you think with those cleaning pencils. Here's an 1864-L I used them on. Hot peroxide will also help take off the crud.

I'm guessing your cent originally
didnt resemble the OP cent, if it did, I'm getting some of those fast!

Great find!! toothpicks can do the same. I have a variety of toothpick/ shish kabob sticks. Different sizes for tight details. 1 pack of each will last years. I'm not hating on the cleaning pencils just putting another suggestion out there. GL&HH
