Found A Small Stone

It's 5/16" wide. I found it in a sand pit at a park by some swings..there's a stone that looks like a diamond in the middle..I thought it was a watch battery until I turned it over.

Any ideas what this could be from? Thanks in advance.

I think that it's part of a snap that goes on girls clothing. I've found a lot of them.

Yeah, it's probably from an article of clothing, at first I thought it was a small diamond. The back looks like stainless steel.

You wouldn't believe how long it took me to locate it in the sand without a sifter..I even had it in my hand and still couldn't find it until it got flipped over..it looked just like a tiny watch battery from the back.
