I found this near a fence after the house had been removed...I'm guessing 1940's, 1950's for a date?

Thanks

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Nice little toy airplane.

The wings look like a Spitfire but I don't get that bubble on top. Maybe even a Hawker Tempest? Not sure. Gary

It is modeled after the Boulton Paul Defiant fighter plane (British WW2), probably 1950's. Very cool find. Sub 8-)

Interesting it was modeled after a British WW2 plane. Boulton Paul defiant fighter... I950's...thank you :)

I like stuff like that pretty cool find

Older toys are fun to find...much more solid...built to last...some kid was playing with it and left it outside perhaps...

Looks like it got shot down! :(

Neet find there..

Good ID. I knew it had the British look to it but that rear cockpit "bubble" was throwing me off. Gary

That's really cool! I remember playing with those when I was a kid. I had several types of those small little planes.

Thanks Scruggs :) I didn’t expect that to show up..
I was hoping to find more old coins..

OLDER TOYS sure can take a beating
