Went detecting today and the first signal was this penny. This is my second 1859. the first one somebody used a small nail set on the Indians face. a very bad case of acne. this one looks like they started a hole. my wife and I own this property there was a house here on a 1909 plat map. I grew up on this farm and still live here. I didn't know there was a house there till I started detecting. the first things I found was a pair of horse shoes that would fit a pony. a banker owned it in 1909 and I think a family was here in the 1870s. thanks for looking dave
