Found another 1700's lead scale weight today!

Last month, I found a one ounce lead scale weight from the 1700's. Dug another one from the same area today. This one is a 1/2 ounce weight. Actually weighs in at .44 of an ounce, probably due to a small piece that was shaved off the edge of the weight. Pretty cool to find another one!

Thanks, guys! I can't believe I'm still finding good stuff at this spot. I'll be going back again as soon as we get some serious rain. Nothing gets the relics popping better than saturated ground...
