I had an opportunity to detect a 1700's colonial era home and property. I'm curious to see if anyone can help to identify a relic that I was able to recover. There was troop movements by Washington and his army in the immediate area. I would appreciate any help in identifying as to what this might be or what it is. I can see some sort of text across a section of it. I was thinking maybe a sword belt tip. Thanks.
