Found 'Colonial' Canadian Token :)

Earlier this month I was lucky enough to find this Thistle Half Penny Token from Nova Scotia on a former 1800s stagecoach in Portland, MI. It is dated 1832. A little corroded but my first token from the 19th century. It was about nine inches down. There have been several relics from the 1800s found on this property since I have been given permission to hunt it, including a New York State Militia Belt Plate circa 1820s. A very nice relic if I don't mind saying so! 8)

Re: Found 'Colonial' Canadian Token :)

I found my first Canadian half penny token this year out in Battle Creek when they were redoing Dickman road. I love finding the old Canadian coins, big congrats and a nice find for sure
