Found this in Charleston, SC harbor. Need help identifying age of piece. The piece is curved like it may be from a bowl. The inside has more of the red design. The outside has what looks to be a tree and the corner of a house.

Looks like red transfer ware. I found a piece of blue transfer ware in the charleston harbor too.

Hey dirtdobber, ekeislers' got it, transfer ware.
I just sold a Currier & Ives blue plate, Old Grist Mill, but that one didn't match your piece. I have a few other blue ware, as some get done in blue, and others in red. Nothing I got matches it. sorry.
On ebay, I typed red scenic plates, it threw up a few different ones. also under pottery and glass, type just red scenic, it'll give you a few different type items.
I have seen ppl make nice jewelry out of old plate pieces like that. good luck with id.

Thanks guys for the conformation on what we thought it was. Now waiting for our local library to locate a reference book on this and the many patterns it came in. D.D.
