Ok, not going to hit the local papers but not skunked. PeteyGirl and I went to the Quartzsite Metal Detectors Club claims and detected the "push". Said we would just look for a half hour as it was already 5:30 PM. At 5:45, we found this little chunk. I left the new Monster at the RV and used the Gold Bug 2. Found at about an inch deep. It is under the 1 gram silver I was given by a vendor yesterday at the Q Gold and Treasure show. Complete with Marine EGA! We'll detect more tomorrow. TTC

It reads .028 grams. That's 28 thousandths of a gram. Well, better than .000, I guess. TTC

Ya know there's gotta be a bigger one around there, don't you think? People still manage to come up with them from time to time.

Great start Terry, you guys go and find some more. Beats sitting in the house watching it snow!

It would be a sad day in Quartzsite, for sure, if we had to dig snow here! Take care, my friend. TTC
