Found in treestump

I was helping my mother clear away her garden this morning. Their is a very large tree stump that is all rotted away. I don't have my MD yet so I found this on pure luck what do you think the device is around the coin. A necklace maybe what else could it be? Not bad for a newbie without a MD huh.

At us without MD it is possible to find also not such finds... For a pair of hours of walks on a wood a pair a pomegranate you will precisely find and if will carry that and the German to dig out it is possible

it is an 1879 silver dollar and it looks like someone has taken a knife to it in a failed attempt on removing it from the mount. I looked around some more and found a 1883 and an 1881 silverdollar not mounted i need a MD...

i had a dream that me and nahabit found a bunker with nazi booty in (gold etc) then woke up in a sweat wondering how the hell i was going to get ths out of russia!!then a few weeks later had a dream my GF threw a buthcer knife at me for asking/telling her i was going to florida to help my brother out..then the time i was dressed in sun god type robes and standing on a pyramid in the jungle and thousand naked woman screaming throwing pickles at me,y is it i am the only one that has this dream...

Sounds like you told the GF the wrong dream. If you have anymore of those

My dad had a silver dollar mounted almost exactly like that.
The pivots allow you to give the coin a firm tap, and spin it to get a "heads" or "tails" for randomly choosing something (or just for fun).
