Found marble while gold panning

Went to one of my fav gold panning spots today and this guy ended up in my pan!



I tried to get some pics of it from all sides








Its pretty beat up and pitted but if theres any info I could get on this marble to add to its story would be appreciated. First time I found one prospecting

How cool. Where are you panning? It looks like a vitro to me, but I am still very new at this so I'd wait until Cheese hops on board.

Panning in central Maine. And I have no idea what a vitro is. Guess what my next google search is going to be lol. Honestly....I hate to admit it but i've found quite a few marbles while detecting and I always throw them in the trash with other junk. After seeing this section on marbles I'm going to hang on to them from now on.
