A buddy of mine and I hit several different fields on Sunday and the only complete Point found was this killer and that was 15 minutes before we were run out by a storm after 5 hours hunting. We were both having a crappy day for sure. Just as we crossed from one field to another in a low spot I made the comment, "I never find anything down here in this muck", took about 4 steps and saw this sticking out of the ground. Best and biggest Point I've found in a long time.

My best guess is a Lowe Point since this site is mostly Woodland. Right at 3 1/4 inches long.

Very nice I'm sure you was thrilled... Is that from your old hunting spot you got to go back to

No, this is from a site in Lewis county Kentucky I've been hunting for about 6 or 7 years now. These are the four trays I have filled up so far. I also have two broken Axes, a few Pestles, a Plummet, and boxes of Scrapers from this site. Lots of Hammerstones and Peckstones found there too.

Man, what a killer! Love that form. Super site frames. Gawd:notworthy:

Congrats on that point. Sometimes we all have dry spells. Makes it that much better when a nice one shows up!

Nice one!!
You deserved it after so long!!!

Always special to find a good one after a dry spell.Excellent in-situ,a mystery tip

Nice find that’s a killer point.... lucky the tip stayed intact and looks like that site has treated you well over the years

That's pretty impressive to all be from one site

That's a Great Find! Congratulations! :icon_thumright:

That is a very nice looking point, glad you didn't give up. That big broken bottle neck point in the frame is nice too! Keep em coming.

That's a beauty, Grim!

I really love that point -and especially the picture of that potential center frame tip sticking out of the mud. My heart would have missed a beat.

Congrats Steve! Really nice projectile for sure!

Congrats Steve.......anything over 3 inches is a monster for the our area.

Very nice find it pays to spend a little time in areas that don't always produce .
