Found my first gun

Its a cap gun but had me fooled for a second.

I did a little woods swinging today and came across this Hubley Remington .36 a couple inches down. It is a vintage toy cap gun thats made very well. Im not sure of the exact age but im thinking about the 60s? If anyone knows please let me know.

Also dug an almost fully intact harmonica. Other than those two items the rest was junk brass pieces and some lead pipe pieces. 40 degree january detecting I cant complain too much.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. They get dropped and left behind a lot it seems. They must have only cost like a nickel or something brand new. Last year was my first year detecting and it was only a partial year. I found quite a few pieces of harmonica reeds and one other complete harmonica. Then i have todays find.

Start the new year out with a bang !!!! I find lots of harmonica reeds never ever saw someone playing one they must have been popular along with religious pendants and all the seemstresses must not have been very good by all the millions of buttons people find sorry getting carried away cool find though thanks for sharing!!!!!

find them blues harps everywhere ... pre dates Bob Dylan and Neil Young too
