Only been out a couple times with my Garrett cxIII, finally able to read the machine better and learning how it works and what it is saying. I went to a local rod and gun club and found alot of cheap change today, I didnt get a picture of the first batch but it was quit alot, mostly pennys. Anyways on my second outing for the day at a local boat landing I may have found a silver ring, on the inside it is stamped either 325, 825, or 925 with a oval symbol behind it. The ring is non-magnetic so I am hoping it is silver but I guess it could be stainless who knows. Any help on identifying would be great, thanks all

Silver for sure! Way better than I've done in the last 2 days =\

Checked out the ring with a magnifing glass and still cant really tell if it is stamped 325, 825 or 925 is there any other way of knowing if it is silver or not? Thanks to all

It is 925 which means 92.5% pure silver...or sterling silver. Those stamps can be hard to make out sometimes. Congrats on your first!!
