Found my first silver :hello2: a 61 quarter that I scratched the heck out of :BangHead: image.webp I guess I should be happy I even found one and learn to be more careful on my digs. Found an old razor blade tiny cross with fake diamonds (very cheap looking not a chance anything real) a little pocket knife, a key, some clad and an old broken "Leslie salt" shaker fast food joints use to give out with their frys. All in all a good day and a little step closer to mastering my gamma. image.webpThanks for looking! HH

Congratulations on the silver quarter!! I'm always thinking in the back of my mind when digging what I think is a really good target....."hope I don't scratch it if it's a silver!!!" Always a chance..........hope you find more!!!

Congrats.Silver still eludes me.HH.

The key is to pinpoint well and over dig a little bit. When you take your hand digger into the hole get a good pinpoint and try and dig a plug of dirt not try and dig the target directly. Sometimes, it is still hard for me to get a perfect pinpoint and when this happens I over-dig the entire plug and cross my fingers that I don't hit the coin.

Congrats on your silver quarter! I did that to a Barber dime, ouch! Now I have my pin pointer, still have to dig a bigger hole from time to time. I see you acquired a set of wheels (2) if your going to put those on your car your gonna have to find the other two! HH!
