About 7 years ago I had a Whites Spectrum XLT. I used it for about a year then my wife had twin boys. I sold it and hadn't had a detector until early February this year. I bought a used Minelab Sovereign XS-2 Pro and am loving it. I like that the sound is the main identifier of the target and the meter just confirms the tone. Anyway, I've been busy swinging and today I was rewarded. It's my first silver with this detector and I'm siked. Wasn't very deep only 4" or so and it had that familiar high and solid tone except this tone sounded a little funky as if it had "wobbly legs". It was a predictor of me just after i pulled it out of the hole!
