I found this point today. I posted it in the North American Indian Artifacts forum as well. Link to original post here: http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/n...first-spearhead-need-help-id.html#post4003560

Was hoping an expert could help me identify the type of point it is and give me an approximate age. I'm VERY excited about this find. Never found one before, and this one appears to be in great shape!

Thanks for your expertise and help in advance!

-Nate

Very Nice! Is the stem snapped off or finished? It looks a lot like a Morrow Mountain but the base is usually a little longer. Very Nice Find!

To the best of my non-existent knowledge, it appears to be finished. It doesn't appear to be snapped off, but I could be wrong. I some similarities with other Morrow Mountain spearheads...Thanks for the lead!
