Went over to dad's for some grill time and he wanted to see if there was any treasure in the yard. He has lived there about 20 years but it was built in the 40's. Found some wheaties and clad but no silver... oh well. Last target was this square Illinois Dept of Finance token. I thought it was a scrap piece of metal at first until I saw the raised edges.
Anyone know what this is made out of and how I can go about cleaning it? I think it may be aluminum.. which isn't supposed to corrode right?
Thanks for any tips.
