Hi I found this wrapped up in my fathers bottom drawer while going through his estate items. It looks old and the writing look like Russian or something similar. Hinges are small pieces of wire. Any idea what it is? About 9" x 12" folded.

Thanks

Phil

Welcome to Treasure Net !!
The item is called a triptych .
I believe it is Greek with the inscription on the inner middle panel may read "The Hope of Everybody"--as here:

The top line grouping of the letters on the front panel represent a Christogram--four letters from the Greek word for "Jesus Christ". "ICXC NIKA", means "Jesus Christ Conquers."

Your triptych might be very valuable. Can you identify the letters (words) that are near the heads of each holy person?
Don.....

Thanks for the info, I will try and get better pics of the writing above each figures head
