Thanks I put pics up but the symbol is up side down. I also found this baggage check. On the back it says John Robbins mfg co. I found this masonic medallion at another location. I also drew the image on the inside of the ring. I did the best I could. One arrow seems to be high and the other one lower. Has anyone seen this image before? I believe the ring is plated.

Looks old to me, I'd keep that for the show and tell !

My friend, that is a gorgeous ring. I encourage you to take it to a jeweler or purchase a gold test kit. It has the appearance of gold to me.

I read the initials as "OG"

Very nice looking ring that does appear to be gold AND old too! I would definitely have it tested by a reputable jeweler or buy a test kit. Congrats!

it looks like some of the rings found in civil war camps also. nice!!

Nice find! It certainly has the look of being old.

Incredible ring, love the look of it. Definitely has some age to it. Congrats.

It's a strange one alright. Not sure how it was made. Looking at the band, I can see an open seam and what would appear to be gold filled plating. I dunno.
