The disc with notches has rough looking threads. There is an "MW" on one notch and an unknown mark on another notch

The rolled piece of steel is 4" long and 1" in diameter. There aren't any marks that I can see. There are threads on either end but they don't extend all the way through. It also appears its in two layers.

Both these items were rusted to a point they were not identifiable. I dipped both in Red Hot for wire wheels and it took most of the rust off.

The first is a nut that you would find on electrical conduit the metal cable going into a power box.The second item I have no idea on.

Agree with the common use for that type of nut.

The threaded pipe, just some WAG's, but possibly a roller off a mini conveyor, or a spacer, or the grip from an industrial D handle tool.

That a was my first impression (silencer). But it's not that. The threas are odd; located on either end with a smooth bore between the threads. A spacer of some sort Is my best guess...but for what? The threaded disc was nearby. This is an old rec baseball field but I have no idea how long it's been there. As usual I found brass for M-16's out there as well.

I've seen a similar disc (on a smaller scale) breaking down an M-16 where the bolt seats. This is too big. Both are probably junks and nothing more.

I was agreeing with Back-of-the-boat on your "threaded disc". Very common conduit locknut. Come in sizes ranging from 3/8" to 6 inches.

The pipe thing is probably just an extension for a handle my wife has a little hand sweeper that has a threaded rod handle like that.

I doubt that its anything domestic. It looks more industrial in nature. With the threading and space in between, I'm sticking with a spacer of some sort. I found a large slug that looks like a knockout to a power box. The disc is probably the wire lock nut that was previously guessed. So maybe this spacer is electrical in nature.

I wasn't saying it was the handle to my wife's sweeper I was saying it is some type of extender for a handle.
