Perhaps but it does not have the feel of a ceramic. It seems more of a stone.

If it was found on a beach, the sand and water would have scoured the glaze off giving it a non-ceramic look and feel.

Knob to a draw. Only thing throwing me off is the square on top but just could of been the style. It looks too perfect for an artifact. It's Cool non the less!
