Hello fellow rock hunters!

I found this interesting specimen on the shore of the Potomac River last year. I frequent the river in my kayak or canoe and enjoy walking the shoreline looking for goodies.

If anyone is interested, I'm also posting in both the Fossils and North American Indian Artifacts forums.

Hello EU citzen! I'm not sure, it was suggested to me that they might be pyrite crystals but I've never seen any that were copper colored?

It's so small, kinda hard to do tests on it I imagine. Otherwise a hardness test would be a good idea. (i.e. will a knife scratch it?)
