Found Ring!

Hey all, Dug this Junior Fire Marshal ring on an old farmstead. It has Hartford Insurance Co. on the band. This was my first ring find!

Its such a thrill to dig up a ring, huh, Buckshot? Even if its not gold or silver---The first one I dug was a brass kids ring and I dug it in my own yard. I always think about the last person to wear it.

Hey Carmon, It was an interesting find. I believe the ring dates to the 50s and was given out through a fire safety program that the Hartford Insurance Co. administered through the public schools.
This was a new spot for me to hunt and i am looking forward to doing some more swinging there...
