That dessert climate was good to that button. Or did you find it at a flea market. What ever, it's a neat button.

Hey man that is one awesome button , great find ! Also I wanted to say welcome to treasurenet . Never mind some of the comments on here not everyone is like that. I remember when I first found treasurenet a few years back the people where very nice and sent alot of encouragment to the newcomers which is the way it should be , but lately its kind of gotten back off in the wrong direction again I see alot of posts with one reply and then another from a seasoned member with numerous reply's I see something wrong with that picture and dont mind voicing my opinion about it ! So welcome and keep those finds coming and keep on posting !Everyone should receive acknowledgment on there finds because there out there doing there best in the hobby . So keep on swinging and good luck to you !

Seriously, I'm not being sarcastic, it's a unique find, and I'm curious, and would like a story with it. How would a British military button be lost in the Arizona desert. If that's where it was found, then there is a real mystery, and perhaps some interesting and fun research. So, I'm not trying to stomp on your foot, I'm just curious and would like a little more of a story with your find, which is really a good one in my book. So, if I came off sarcastic, I'm sorry, welcome to Treasure Net, and don't let me discourage you, post your finds.

Cool button!! Wouldn't mind finding one myself. :icon_thumleft:

BosnMate was asking a legitimate question which did not come across as sarcastic or discouraging at all. I too would like to know a little more about the nature of the find.

Nice button!

Nice button and in great shape. You never know what you will find in the West. A few years ago I found this 1/4 penny with Queen Victoria on it in California, and I am west of Arizona! On the back of the coin it said East India Company it was dated 1851 ! Well we all know the history of Western expansion and the gold rush, so who's to know :dontknow: :dontknow: I have read that many have deserted their post in the military and went of West to search for that elusive yellow metal from far and beyond our borders. Congrats, and welcome to the forum... Happy Hunting ! :headbang: :headbang:

The Soldier wearing the button might have been assigned there for desert training. :icon_salut:
