Was pretty geeked about this at first, but it appears to be Canadian or British.
Should be a no brainer for someone with foreign, or non USA shall I say, experience with coins.

Has a female portrait on the obverse, reverse a seated figure, no date or lettering visible.
Found the aluminum 6 or 9 token in the same vicinity.

british penny --queen victoria mature head was 1874 to 1894--brittannia on rear --date on rear on bottom looks like a 7 on the end -- so if a mature head front with a "'7" in the date on the rear-- 1877*,1887 *-

if a young head --the dating on the started in rear in 1860 thru 1874 --so if a young head front with a 7 on the rear -- it has to be 1867*

so one of those 3 dates -- 1867,1877, or 1887

Sweet find, is that Britania on the reverse? Congrats!

Good luck,
HH.

Yeah you're right, there is a 7.

And if anyone can see any lettering, your eyes are better than mine, though I can make out some faint impressions around the head area.

True, very likely to have been lost in the 1950s.
