Found the home site I've been looking for...
I only had time to find one IH penny when I noticed a car stopped on the road and a lady getting out. She walked back to where I was at and I recognized her as the owner of the field next to where I was hunting. Mrs Snider told me her husband wanted me to know there was another home site way back in another field behind their home and I was welcome to hunt it and could park in their barnyard. Mrs. Snider said her husband was interested in Indian relics and hunted them when he wasn't busy farming. I asked her if Mr. Snider would be interested in seeing my plat atlas and she said he probably would. I'm going to go back over and do a little chatting with Mr. Snider and see about hunting the rest of his property and maybe having him point out any old home sites he is aware of. How lucky can I get?
Here's the IH I found. I also dug some lead and suspender pieces.
