That is funny that you remembered me saying that. No, the day these were found I had on my mud boots and was sinking deep in the mud walking through the fields. No sitting that day. I was so tired from walking that day cause I was carrying around 5 lbs of mud on each boot, aw guess I needed the exercise LOL Mary ann

Good looking point pieces--they hunted large animals back then didn't they.

The field where you found those point pieces is it disc plowed a couple of times each year? If so check up on the high points, maybe a ridge if there is one--overlooking a large flat area and look down hill from the crest (top). You should be able to find some complete points. I have had good luck doing that--not in Indiana, but Arizona.

Arizona points are not so large and are mostly made of obsidian--mostly.

Those are some nice pieces of what appear to be lance points or knife blades.

How could I forget Mary Ann?I done the mud boot thing the other day.My shoes must weigh 20lbs. apeice.Super finds. I,m going to try that sit and slide method some day. lol
