Found these two rocks in the woods

While digging up other things I came across these rocks, I would appreciate any thoughts or opinions on them.

They look sedimentary. The last one look like grey wackee sandstone similar to what's in Northern California.

I'm with the sand stone idea
Guessing the light color part of the stone is soft, you should be able to snap it off or take a screw driver to it and mark it

Now that I think about it the purple and orange banded rock looks like iron bearing stone. Especially with it fading to rust orange.
