Found this at a 1915 - 1982 school - Baseball medal? Age?

Dug this up. It looks copper I think. It's cool but do you have any idea on the age? I don't think its too old maybe 20 years old. Any ideas on its age? There is no embossing on it.

I dont know the age but if I had to guess it looks alot older then 20 years ! Copper doesnt erode like that either.

It's hard to tell, I don't know when they first started making them. You might check with a trophy shop.
They're the ones who supply and engrave them for the schools.
Now I'm not positive, but I think that it was probably the 70's before the large medals were popular.
I remember actual medals that pinned on shirts earlier. Yours look like the type that was wore around the neck.

Yeah it looks like the one that would be hung by a chain/necklace thing.
