Found this at a Florida lake, any ideas??

I was detecting at lake okeechobee in central FL and came across this. It was hitting on mid range and high. After an hour of digging I gave up was very heavy and I had no idea how big it actually was. The top that was showing was roughly 6" across and 9" long. It also appeared to be hollow. All input is appreciated!

Looks like a square tubing sign post that was bulldozed over.
