Hi hang and hope all is well. Thank you in advance for help/thoughts. I found this at a sale around 10-12 years ago. It was a yard sale. I remember buying a box of junk and this was in it along with a few old coins and books. It was inside a velvet bag. It is a Comitia Americana medal. I forgot I had it, till I was cleaning out the dresser drawers. So decided to research it and there is so many contradicting info on these. What I do know it?s not the 1976 version as those had the words bronze on edge I believe. And the newer versions are bigger than the originals. I?ve found a few that match up to this one. But needing more input from those who are more knowledgeable on these.

If your medal is 2-5/8" in diameter it's most likely a Bronze, U.S. Mint re-strike from the 1970's.
