Also found this Canadian Penny today which I forgot to post with my other. It has 2 dates on it 1867 - 1992. Has anyone ever found one like this. It must be some 125 th anniversary coin I would think. Never saw one before, and I have dug up a lot of Canadian coins in my years. Any info would be appreciated Thanks :) Shane. Hope the pic is clear enough to see the dates.

Looks like it would be an anniversary coin. Like our 1776-1976 Bicentenial Quarter.

1992 was Canada's 125th anniversary of confederation, so most 1992 coins were double dated, with "1867 - 1992". Otherwise, the design remained the same, and in 1993 the single dating resumed.

That looks kind of rare from what I'm looking at in this book. There's supposed to be a dove on the back not the leaf.Composition Bronze: Subject Confederation Centennial. Obv Designer: Arnold Machin Reverse: Dove with wings spread Rev Designer: Alex Coville. Mintage 345,140,645.
