Found this in the woods.

It’s a bone, but it has these perfectly symmetrical lines carved into it. Anybody have any clues or ideas??

Releventchair is correct! I was a butcher for many years. Can't tell you how many pork legs I've boned out. Bone is correct size and shape for a pork femur. You can easily make out the saw marks where they knocked the butt end of the ham off and where the bone was trimmed to fit the spiral slicer.

Not a prehistoric point PP but a cool find nonetheless. You find some cool stuff in your woods.

Lol interesting but weird. Maybe something pulled it out of someone’s trash and that’s how it ended up deep in the middle of no where!!!

I was a butcher for many years as well. It is the bone fro. A spiral ham. Very likely a critter carried it way into the woods.
