I was in an old farm field. It was very clean with hardly any readings. I then hit a patch of junk and pulled out a lot melted lead. In a 15x15 area there was a load junk metal. The very last dig and I pulled this out. It’s about an inch long, half inch wide and about an inch thick. My first thought was typeset for a printing press, but those are usually in blocks. Maybe a stamp.

I was expecting to see a digging tool! What is it made of?

I call a spade a spade. LOL
The detector is saying its iron. I was thinking brass due to its lack of rust. Its tarnished brown but has no rust or corrosion.

It makes little sense to me. It’s dimensions seem too large to be an old game piece. I’m
Also shocked it came out of the ground with no rust. PS it’s attracts a magnet.
