Found this strange (US?) coin on ebay dated 1875

Sorta looks like a 5$ gold piece but it appears to be copper.
Any info on it?

Looks like a bad copy to me.

I could not find any 1875 coins like that, unless it is a really rare pattern that no one knows about, it's probably a fake.

Or some sort of token from that time period. Why would anyone fake a coin that dosn't exist ? Token is my guess and for the price I probably would have bought it. Here's the pics in case it disappears from the Ebay page. Sold for $5.50
