Poor detector :(. I've also seen this one before. It had something to do about hunting in places where old UOD's may be found.......NGE

That's gonna leave a mark.

the one where a beach detect. dug a large T*AT sign was funnier

Reminds me... Was just watching National Treasure via Netflix with the kids Thu. night and there's a scene near the beginning where a bunch of folks are in the Arctic(?) and spread out on the ice with detectors (Bounty Hunters?) and they have that same geiger counter sound. (It was pretty unrealistic.)

No wonder newbies are so screwed up!

LOL. It is pretty unrealistic but 95% of the people that see detectors in movies have no clue how they actually work. I think they call that "creative license"

That's pretty funny! What's scary is I've seen a lot of guys detect that way with their search coil a mile off the ground! It is weird how in movies you always hear that strange sound that never resembles what a detector sounds like. (Revenge of the nerds has that sound too)
Dave.

OMG I forgot all about that home made detector, that was absolutely hilarious.
