Is there anything on the back? A medal like this was issued in 1920 to to commemorate the Polish American soldiers that volunteered. However a modern copy has been made. here's a link to what I am talking about.

This is a picture of the back of one that is also supposed to be authentic. It has W&HCO (Whitehead and Hoag Co., Newark, New Jersey) on it. I can't understand why the back would be a reversed image of the front?

More info here. Two types of this medal were issued. Fyrffytr1 shows type 1. Yours is a type 2. Still the same medal for the same vets.
