Is there anything on the back? A medal like this was issued in 1920 to to commemorate the Polish American soldiers that volunteered. However a modern copy has been made. here's a link to what I am talking about. Polish 1920 Commemorative award for American Volunteers.
This is a picture of the back of one that is also supposed to be authentic. It has W&HCO (Whitehead and Hoag Co., Newark, New Jersey) on it. I can't understand why the back would be a reversed image of the front?
