Peerless made police and military handcuffs, there was a Peerless Cement Co. in my home town and yes they make plumbing fixtures. That is three companies I can think of. Probably a ton more.

I THINK I found it. Peerless Automobiles. 1900 - 1932. Haven't found the EXACT emblem, However the writing matches perfectly
