While checking the quarters I save for laundry, I check the dates before putting then in my laundry container. This was the last one in the pile that I was checking for the date that's when I noticed the error in the coin. Now, I want to get it checked to see what something like this would be worth.

Holly cow !! :o

These kids of errors are based on the amount or % that the error covers. :read2: Smaller examples are not worth so much but this error covers the entire date!! :o Very cool, Dose it have a copper rime going around the outside rim ? ??? If silver worth around $25 :hello2: if clad worth around $10 :headbang:

Great find !! :icon_thumleft:

Keep @ it and HH !! ;D :D

Now that's what I call a cud!!! :icon_thumleft:

Yes, great cud! :icon_thumright: Made 1980 or later, has the "P" mint mark.

Wonder what year? :D

Not just a cud. Doubling obverse and reverse as well. Look close!

On reverse, doubling of R in DOLLAR and stem of wreath, just above the R.

On obverse, additional cuds on B, R and T of LIBERTY (look between the top of the letters and the rim). Looks like there may have also been some doubling or other problems with the B and Y of LIBERTY, but can't decide what they would be. Perhaps rotated die?

Nice pocket find.

Cool Find-
