Found today while hunting old CCC Camp........ Help with identification!!!!

This is a button that I found today at a CCC Camp site.....Unfortunately the back is missing but I thought it unique......Help identifing would be appreciated.....

I'm thinking it might have something to do with ink or typewriter ribbon?

A wild guess, button off of some type of work clothing or gloves.

I believe it is a snap button off of either work pants or could be suspenders.

Check these out. Some are referenced to Carter and another to Starbrand.
