Greetings and hello all from the land of the New York State Fair . Yes indeed the fair is in town and the parks are empty. Joy dance ! So I was out on this humid day and I was sweating in the shade . I thought with the fair in town it would be a good time to hit an old baseball field I played on in the way early 70's. First I hit a vollyball sand pit that seemed to be picked clean . Just junk mostly . I got the faintest of hits on one pass . Not sure the VDI # . As a rule I dig every thing in sand . The V3i said 6" 1/4 down . I got old yellow teeth . He is ugly and he brought me luck. What amazed me is he has a brass screw on his backside and that is what the V3i picked up . I mean dinky screw. So I could see that some one had been digging in the tot lots and some real bad cover ups , so I headed towards the baseball field and about 10 min. later I got an 80 hit at 7 " and caked in clay out comes 1963 rosalita . silver # 1 and shortly there after was # 2 a 1924 merc. That is why I bought this machine. to be honest with you . Like my motto says " we didn't get dressed up for nutin" The merc hit a solid 75 and was in warning track cinders under the grass . Enjoy the pics and my new mascot " the
yellow teeth silver beast " Rob
