✅ SOLVED Found with other WW I buttons and badges - I F and crossed swords

Found a drawer full of USA WW I buttons and badges. Has an "I" and cross swords and an "F" on a 1 inch brass button. Can someone tell me about this badge?

Thank you ... then it is a bronze collar disk of the 1st cavalry regiment, company F that belonged to my paternal grandfather, as he was a horseback signal-man/courier in WWI
