Very nice finds. Like Koger, I like thoses suspender buckles. Good job. Tennessee digger

that little axe might be a woodsmen of america charm

One thing about my foundation sites, there seems to be no short supply of suspender buckles. It takes alot of time going over every inch of these places with 2 machines seeing what missed what.
heres A pic of the best ones found this season,
thanks guys :hello:

NICE!!!Awesome buckles!!!I see many that I have dug myself, all in 1850's- era sites

Cool stuff! The relic that is flattened with the small holes and the pin on the opposite end (lower right in your last picture) looks like half of a forged hinge.

that lions head is something else

some very interesting relics Prolab69 i found a match to your lion piece a few years ago and it cleaned up nice . from the brazed marks on the back it looks like it went to a womans decorative sash buckle maybe . cool piece yours should have alot of gold gilt under that dirt.

Nope, no gilt on this one. must have been in the ground too long. Looking at the style of the lion, It actually looks like A decrotive piece from some childs furniture, but you could be right.

If your referring to the piece with the X on it? then yes. Im thinking its a tongue part to a buckle mechanism, like what you would see on a fanny pack.
