Very nice. Appear to be the same four in both no? Any markings on the backs?

No markings on the back. The guy in the upper left is related to the estate as I have several more pics of him. I believe his father was a Confederate Surgeon that I have items from as well. If anybody can put a date on these by the style of uniform, please let me know.

They look like Union Army uniforms to me. I see sergeant major, quartermaster, sergeant and corporal stripes on those sleeves. I guess Indian War era is possible also.
