Thanks,

western states souvenir gold the california minerva series 1915.

They are Western States Souvenier Gold pieces made by the M.E. Hart Company of San Francisco, CA to honour Alaska and other Western States. The ones in the pics, if real, would probably grade at Extra Fine at best and are the California Minerva Series. The 1/4 Dollar might fetch $175 to $225 and the 1/2 Dollar might fetch $225 to $275 depending on how bad someone wants one but expect the lower end prices.

Nice pieces and Welcome to TNet! :hello:

Nice pieces but I hate to tell you that the ones with the bears are reproductions from the 1900s. Sorry. I bought them too, and found out later they are repros. Welcome to tresurenet

If ya didn''t dig them - where did you find them bouwob?

If you purchased them and the seller represented, in writing, they are authentic coins of the period, and they turn out not to be, show a copy of the Hobby Protection Act to the seller and demand your money back--at a minimum.
