Just a few from the last couple of years.
Since I'm new I thought I would just share a few when I get a chance.

Welcome to the forum, DEAP. You must have quite a collection. Thank you for sharing! What is that last piece?

Wow, I think you might have the world record for most Fraser River Jade celts/adzes found. I have a couple of them I've bought over the years, a buddy found one while fishing, and that started it for me.

Here's my biggest, all the rest are little dinky ones. Nothing compares to a personal find, but figured you might appreciate it more than most people.

:hello: Welcome to TNET! Looks like you have some mighty fine artifacts. Well Gone! :icon_thumleft:

What a great artifact Josh. Beautiful! I have a couple more of those ill post another time.
Thanks

Beautiful ! In picture # 9 the celt. Is their a particular name for that style of celt? Thank you for sharing and welcome to the forum.:hello:

Eric, The last piece is I believe part of a stone pipe.

those nephrite pieces are amazing

I have not known number nine by anything other than a chisel I could be wrong?
For working on cedar trees and taking planks off I believe? And possibly for working in a dugout canoe.

Thanks Mac I either have that one or loaned it out quite a few years ago and didn't get it back. I would have to check in my library but I have read it. Excellent book
I really like Hillary Stewart's books. When I go to used bookstores I always look for them.

Her books have really gone up in price since she passed away too. What other PNW titles would you suggest?

Those are some great finds

Hey unclemac, here is one by Hillary. I know there are more, but it's the only one I could find. Others packed away. And a couple of others I like. Not PNW but good.

Awesome items... My friend collected some material from that area... I hope i can get a picture of the celt....

Btw... The celt he has is new, but from that material he picked from a creek

thanks for the info....hey...is the museum in Victoria is good as I remember it for PNW artifacts and info?...It has been a long time.

I haven't been to that one. When I travel I try to go to all of the museums I can. UBC is incredible. One of the best.
Steve
