Not much. Didn't really find any info on it. Looks stunning but apart from that... Maybe you guys can help?

OK, got something. With a little help from a friend we were able to determine that it's mid XIX cen. - Crimean War period (Crimea - a very hot topic at the moment). Really cool read.

Nice, usually the higher the number the later the regiment. That is a nice one.
